The OBDPro scantools use an integrated circuit that is compatible with the ELM327 offering.

There are certain commands though that are different from the ELM327
Examples:

• ATSCS & ATWCS to change the communications speed without changing jumpers.

Also certain commands such as allowing long messages ATAL are not supported since they have limited utility. If you have a strong desire for any command please send us an email and we will incorporate the request in the next release.

The datasheet explains in detail all the commands supported by the OBDPro.
